Building the Amazon Studios Tech Brand — and Meet OLO

Designed the Amazon Studios Tech brand from scratch — logo, look, voice — and created OLO, a friendly robot mascot tucked inside the 'OLO' of TechnOLOgy who guides audiences through content security, virtual production, and live events.

01 — The problem

Amazon Studios Tech was doing extraordinary work behind the scenes, but had no brand of its own. Internal teams couldn't find it, partner orgs didn't know how to talk about it, and important programs (security, virtual production, events) had no shared visual language.

02 — The approach
  • Built the Amazon Studios Tech brand system: logo, color, typography, motion language, and tone of voice.
  • Designed OLO — the robot embedded in 'TechnOLOgy' — and a recurring animated short format where OLO guides viewers through how the team actually works.
  • Produced animated shorts across three pillars: content security, virtual production, and studio-wide tech events.
03 — Outcomes
